Michelle Williams, who plays Glinda (the Good Witch) in director Sam Raimi’s highly anticipated Oz The Great And Powerful, had only kind words to say about the filmmaker.
During last weekend’s press conference, Williams was asked about the challenge of transitioning from indie film driven material to working on such a big studio canvas like Oz The Great And Powerful.
“I knew the moment I met Sam that it wasn’t going to be that different from other experiences that I’ve had,” said Williams, whose previous credits include Blue Valentine and My Week With Marilyn. “He is, first of all, a consummate family man and his sets feel like…he makes little homes. And it feels very cozy and it feels very safe. It feels like all of your ideas are welcomed, even the bad ones.”
