In Warm Bodies, Nicholas Hoult (Skins) plays a zombie who falls in love with a young woman (Teresa Palmer), and their relationship unfortunately can’t be consummated due to a couple of reasons. For one, he has no blood circulating in his body. Plus, our conflicted protagonist also killed and proceeded to eat the young lady’s boyfriend (Dave Franco) during a humans vs. zombies confrontation.
One of the most challenging aspects of shooting Warm Bodies was the daily grind of sitting in the makeup chair to transform into a walking corpse. Hoult, however, reminded us that he played The Beast in X-Men: First Class.
In the following audio clip, Hoult explained why the makeup process behind Warm Bodies wasn’t such a big deal. Click on the media bar below to hear Hoult:
Warm Bodies, co-starring John Malkovich, opens February 1st.

Why it wasn’t a big deal? You mean besides the money? I’d say any actor that complains about makeup is in the wrong business.
