Playing For Keeps, the romantic drama headlined by Gerard Butler and Jessica Biel, came and went during its December release, but hopefully it will get a closer look when it comes out March 5th on Blu-ray and DVD. The story of a responsibility challenged ex-soccer player (Butler) who reconnects with his ex-wife (Biel) and son, the picture also features an A-list supporting cast (Catherine Zeta-Jones, Uma Thurman, Judy Greer, Dennis Quaid).

The movie is directed by Gabriele Muccino, a filmmaker who’s proven adept at character driven work with the films The Pursuit of Happyness and Seven Pounds.  Special features on the DVD and Blu-ray include: Seven deleted scenes and two featurettes (The Playbook: The Making of Playing for Keeps and Creating an All-Star Team: The Cast of Playing for Keeps).
