As a two time Emmy winner for his work as Sheldon Cooper on The Big Bang Theory, Jim Parsons has an interesting way of preparing for the idiosyncratic role. The actor, who starred last year in a limited Broadway run of Harvey, admits he goes through a “mouth workout” to capture part of Sheldon’s mannerisms. It’s a pretty interesting way to prepare, but as long as the results remain outstanding, the end pretty much justifies the comedic means.
