Arriving in theaters later this week, THIS IS 40 revisits some of the characters from the hit JUDD APATOW comedy KNOCKED UP and paints a genuine (and genuinely entertaining) portrait of a working family doing whatever necessary to keep from pulling apart at the seams. Written and directed by APATOW, the cast includes his real-life wife, LESLIE MANN, daughters IRIS and MAUDE and such funny folk as PAUL RUDD, MELISSA McCARTHY, MEGAN FOX, JASON SEGEL, JOHN LITHGOW, CHRIS O’DOWD, LENA DUNHAM and ALBERT BROOKS. Talking to entertainment press last week in New York City to promote the film, LESLIE MANN admitted she was stoked by all the advance positive response the film has been getting from early press and word-of-mouth screenings.
