116Betty White has been working in the entertainment business for over seven decades. Over the course of her incredible career, she has starred in many iconic television shows including The Mary Tyler Moore Show (playing Sue Ann Nivens) and the comedy, The Golden Girls (playing the loveable, naive Rose Nylund). White, who currently stars in another hit comedy series, Hot In Cleveland, told us that of all the character’s she has played in her career, Rose Nylund was the closest to her heart. As many remember, Rose Nylund would tell stories of where she grew up in St. Olaf, a fictional town in Minnesota, which got so many laughs. White recalls filming those scenes, and how her costars Rue McClanahan, Estelle Getty, and Bea Arthur would wait to see if she would screw up her lines because she had to pronounce words she wasn’t use to saying. White went on to talk about how she can’t believe she is the only member of The Golden Girls who is still living, and that her Golden Girls co-stars were very special people.
