It was standing room only at last Thursday’s special promotional screening of the much anticipated historical epic LINCOLN, held in NYC by Time Magazine to hype this week’s issue featuring our 16th President on its cover. In an article titled “What Would Lincoln Do”, the magazine speculates on how the great emancipator might serve the U.S. in today’s troubled times. Directed by STEVEN SPIELBERG from a script by award-winning playwright TONY KUSHNER, the LINCOLN cast includes DANIEL DAY-LEWIS, SALLY FIELD, JOSEPH GORDON LEVITT, JOHN HAWKES, WALTER GOGGINS, JACKIE EARL HALEY, JAMES SPADER and TOMMY LEE JONES. During the Manhattan press conference to promote the film, STEVEN SPIELBERG admitted that he learned something important while making LINCOLN. (CLICK ON THE MEDIA BAR FOR AUDIO)
