More character study than disaster film, the much buzzed about FLIGHT is finally arriving in theaters to mostly positive reviews. Marking a return to live-action for director ROBERT ZEMECKIS (who for the past dozen years has been working in mo-cap animation), FLIGHT centers on a heroic commercial airline pilot whose addiction to drugs and alcohol is on the threshold of becoming public knowledge. Written by JOHN GATINS, the film boasts an impressive cast that includes DENZEL WASHINGTON, KELLY REILLY, JOHN GOODMAN, MELISSA LEO, BRUCE GREENWOOD and DON CHEADLE.
During a recent press conference to promote the movie, Academy Award-winning actor DENZEL WASHINGTON talked about why he wanted in on the film. (CLICK ON THE MEDIA BAR FOR AUDIO)
