Soon to be seen on the big screen in the extraordinary sci-fi epic CLOUD ATLAS, actor BEN WHISHAW is now busy prepping for his 3/13 West End committment to a new play called PETER AND ALICE. Written by Tony Award-winner JOHN LOGAN (RED), the play combines fantasy and reality with a chance meeting between the real-life inspirations for J. M. BARRIE’S PETER PAN and LEWIS CARROLL’S ALICE IN WONDERLAND at the opening of a literary exhibition in 1932 providing the setting. Not only do DENCH and WHISHAW share a common love of the stage but, as fate would have it, she plays “M” to his “Q” in the upcoming JAMES BOND thriller SKYFALL.
We spoke with WHISHAW a few days ago and he talked briefly about PETER AND ALICE. (CLICK ON THE MEDIA BAR FOR AUDIO)
