Currently in post-production, EMPEROR is an historical drama set at the end of World War II and centered on General Bonner Fellers’ life-or-death decision regarding the fate of Emperor Hirohito, considered by many a notorious war criminal. Directed by PETER WEBBER from a screenplay by VERA BLASI, the cast includes MATTHEW FOX, TOMMY LEE JONES, AARON JACKSON and TAKATARO KATAOKA.
As General Fellers, MATTHEW FOX had to bone-up on his WWII history in prep for the role. During last weekend’s press conference to promote his appearance in the upcoming thriller ALEX CROSS, FOX took a moment to talk about the challenge of doing the historical drama.
