Arriving in theaters today, TAKEN 2 marks a reunion for audiences with former CIA agent Bryan Mills, now in hot water with the murderous mob that brutally kidnapped his daughter a year earlier (as covered in the original ‘09 film). Directed by OLIVIER MEGATON (COLOMBIANA) from a screenplay by LUC BESSON and ROBERT MARK KAMAN, the returning cast features LIAM NEESON, FAMKE JANSSEN, MAGGIE GRACE, LELAND ORSER and JON GRIES.
The huge (and surprise) success of TAKEN led to the creation of this subsequent sequel and star LIAM NEESON couldn’t have been more pleased. During a recent press conference to promote the film, he talked about how much he enjoyed shooting on location in Istanbul. (CLICK ON THE MEDIA BAR FOR AUDIO)
