Much to the delight of critics everywhere, JERSEY SHORE begins its sixth and final season tonight on MTV. A very popular train-wreck of a reality show, the series has made household names of stars SNOOKI, THE SITUATION and PAULY D (as well as their circle of partying pals) and opened doors that have led to other projects and made them very wealthy people.

Despite critical barbs and salacious tabloid headlines, JERSEY SHORE has been a consistent crowd pleaser. Facing TV critics a few months ago, THE SITUATION, SNOOKI and PAULY D stepped all over each other to explain why they think the show has struck a chord with MTV audiences.
