Airing tonight on NBC-TV, ANIMAL PRACTICE is a new workplace sitcom set in a busy New York animal hospital and centered on a misanthropic veterinarian whose bedside manner with critters is a vast improvement over his way with humans. Infused with a heavy dose of dark humor and featuring a cast that includes JUSTIN KIRK, JOANNA GARCIA SWISHER, TYLER LABINE and BOBBY LEE, the series is proving to be a slow starter in the ratings despite displaying some pretty strong sitcom chops.
Probably best known to TV audiences for his work on the last eight seasons of the hit Showtime series WEEDS, JUSTIN KIRK sat down with us yesterday to talk about his upcoming big-screen drama NOBODY WALKS but took a moment to assure fans that ANIMAL PRACTICE is moving along right on-track.
