Fox-TV’s popular cooking competition show MASTERCHEF saw its first blind contestant, CHRISTINE HA, overcome visual impairment to become this season’s winner and reigning champ. Beating out other competitors over a period of almost four months, HA walks away with $250,000 and the promise of getting her own cookbook published. We sat down with winner CHRISTINE HA and her pal/fellow contestant FELIX FANG at The Television Critics press event in mid-July (before the winners were announced) and CHRISTINE talked about her motivation for entering the contest and her reason for becoming a home chef.
