Enjoying critical and audience acclaim after last week’s screening at The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), THE PLACE BEYOND THE PINES is a crime drama centered on a motorcycle stunt driver on the run from a cop-turned-politician after he robs a bank to support his family. Co-written (with BEN COCCIO and DARIUS MARDER) and directed by DEREK CIANFRANCE, the cast includes RYAN GOSLING, BRADLEY COOPER, ROSE BYRNE, EVA MENDES, RAY LIOTTA, BRUCE GREENWOOD and HARRIS YULIN.

A reunion for GOSLING and CIANFRANCE (who teamed up for BLUE VALENTINE in 2010), THE PLACE BEYOND THE PINES apparently stemmed from an idea they both had independently.
