Arguably one of the greatest action heroes of his generation, Academy Award-nominated actor/screenwriter/director SYLVESTER STALLONE is currently, at the ripe old age of 66, enjoying third-act success as one of several old-school veterans heading the cast of THE EXPENDABLES 2. Like its 2010 predecessor, the film is cleaning up at the box office and already there is talk that a third installment is in the works and has been given the green light.
Meanwhile, a new trailer has been released for STALLONE’S next feature, BULLET TO THE HEAD, a crime drama co-starring CHRISTIAN SLATER and directed by WALTER HILL.
To watch STALLONE on screen, one would never suspect that he was a shy and insecure kid but, during an interview we did with him a few years ago, he confided that movies were responsible for drawing him out of his shell. (CLICK ON THE MEDIA BAR FOR AUDIO)
