This week, the 1980’s iconic high school film, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, turned 30 years old. The film featured many up and coming actors including Academy Award winners Nicolas Cage, Sean Penn and Forest Whitaker. The film was written by Cameron Crowe, who went on to win an Oscar for Best Writing, Screenplay Written Directly for the Screen, for the film Almost Famous.
Sean Penn, who played the loveable stoner Jeff Spicoli, told us that he has nothing but great memories about making the film. (Click on the media bar below to hear Sean Penn)
But it was quite the opposite for Nicolas Cage, who said that it was not a pleasant experience for him. (Click on the media bar to hear Nicolas Cage)
