Enjoying a sneak preview tonight (before its move to Wednesday nights in its actual 8:00 time slot next month), ANIMAL PRACTICE is a new workplace sitcom set in a busy New York animal hospital and centered on an unorthodox veterinarian whose bedside manner with critters far surpasses his way with humans. Infused with a heavy dose of dark humor and featuring a cast that includes JUSTIN KIRK, JOANNA GARCIA SWISHER, TYLER LABINE and BOBBY LEE, the pilot shows signs of having some staying power.

Probably best known to TV audiences for his work on the last eight seasons of the hit Showtime series WEEDS, JUSTIN KIRK sat down with us a couple of weeks ago to talk about the new show and his plans to research the role.
