An Entourage movie has been talked about for several years, but maybe its disappointing final season led to a slight loss of momentum for the possible film project.  The writing was sub par during the final episodes, and Entourage lost a bit of its sardonic and pointed edge as the writers tried to wrap everything up in a nice little bow.

Yesterday at HBO’s portion of the Television Critics Association Press Tour, HBO president of programming Michael Lombardo gave an update on the Entourage movie.  Personally, I’d be surprised if it ever gets done, but if I am proven wrong, let’s just hope it embodies the carefree spirit of the earlier seasons.  (Click on the media bar to hear Michael Lombardo)
