Glee creator Ryan Murphy has a new show airing on NBC this fall called The New Normal. The series is about a woman who becomes a surrogate mother so a gay couple can have a baby. The show hasn’t even aired yet and it’s already being boycotted by an anti-gay women’s group called One Million Moms, because it feels the show promotes homosexuality.

Today at the Television Critics Association, Ryan Murphy said that maybe the group should view the show first because they might actually like it, and there is a character on the series played by Ellen Barkin that they might even relate to. (Click on the media bar below to hear Ryan Murphy)
