Arriving in theaters next month, THE BOURNE LEGACY is the fourth installment in the franchise of big screen adaptations of the work of best-selling author ROBERT LUDLUM. This time around, a new (but equally mysterious) black ops agent follows in the footsteps of Jason Bourne as he strolls into a world of conspiracy and covert activity. Co-written (with brother DAN) and directed by TONY GILROY, the cast includes JEREMY RENNER, EDWARD NORTON, RACHEL WEISZ, DONNA MURPHY, JOAN ALLEN, ALBERT FINNEY and DAVID STRATHAIRN.
Stepping into an already established franchise and essentially replacing its very popular star (MATT DAMON) must have been a stressful undertaking for JEREMY RENNER but, at last week’s press conference, he admitted that the biggest challenge he faced was just getting through the day.
