Airing tonight on IFC, PORTLANDIA: THE BRUNCH SPECIAL is an all-new look into the making of season two’s finale BRUNCH VILLAGE. Fans of the show will get a look at the director’s cut of the episode in which co-creators FRED ARMISEN (SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE) and CARRIE BROWNSTEIN (SLEATER-KINNEY) bring to life some of the series most beloved (and off-beat) characters. Along the way, guest stars KYLE MacLACHLAN, BOBBY FLAY and SNL producer LORNE MICHAELS all make guest appearances.
No stranger to the Pacific Northwest, MacLACHLAN rose to popularity in the early ’90s as star of the eerie DAVID LYNCH television series TWIN PEAKS. At the recent PORTLANDIA press conference, he talked about that show and his relationship with that part of the country. (CLICK ON THE MEDIA BAR FOR AUDIO)
