It always surprises me when actors claim they rarely watch their movies more than once. A modicum of vanity and a strong sense of ego are traits that are usually affixed to the acting profession, and the claim that thespians don’t study their performances like a basketball coach watches game tape just doesn’t add up.
Mark Wahlberg, star of the runaway summer hit Ted, was asked if he watches his own work. Wahlberg has starred in his share of grade A projects (The Fighter, Three Kings, Boogie Nights), so maybe he’s one of the few guys who watches his own stuff at home.
