Currently starring in the drama People Like Us, Chris Pine understands there is a ton of pressure riding on the expected success of the Star Trek sequel.  After all, it was J.J. Abrams’ fresh take on the iconic franchise which helped transform Star Trek into a worldwide hit.  Pine, who is playing the role of Captain James T. Star Trek sequel, which is still untitled, opens nationwide May 7th, 2013.  People Like Us, directed by Star Trek writer/executive producer Alex Kurtzman, is now playing in select theaters.
