It may not be the biggest hit of the summer season but MAGIC MIKE has more than proven to be an audience crowd pleaser and first rate entertainment. Under the direction of STEVEN SODERBERGH, the film examines the world of male strip clubs as it tells a tale of hopes and dreams, some realized and some gone awry and undoubtedly benefits from the ‘beefcake’ cast that includes CHANNING TATUM, ALEX PETTYFER, MATTHEW McCONAUGHEY, MATT BOMER, ALEX RODRIGUEZ and JOE MANANIELLO.

Holding his own against younger members of the cast, MATTHEW McCONAUGHEY succeeds in stealing the show as Dallas, the slightly screwy impresario in charge of this stripping sausage-fest and tears it up with a dance number of his own.
