Due in theaters this week, THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN reboots the familiar origin story of the web-spinning, wise-acre high school student turned reluctant superhero made famous on the pages of Marvel Comics. Directed, this time around, by MARC WEBB, the cast includes ANDREW GARFIELD, EMMA STONE, RHYS IFANS, SALLY FIELD, DENIS LEARY, MARTIN SHEEN, C. THOMAS HOWELL and EMBETH DAVIDTZ.

A life-long Spider-Man fan, GARFIELD has gone on record saying how honored he was to be chosen to play the titular super-hero but on a recent episode of The Daily Show he confessed that he was less than enamored with the costume.
