A triple threat veteran of stage, screen and television, ROB REINER somehow manages to balance his career as a writer/director/producer/actor with his work as a social activist and one of the founders of The American Foundation For Equal Rights, a group devoted to the challenge of California’s Prop 8 and reinstating the legalization of gay marriage in that state (and hopefully, in time, the whole country).

Making the rounds last week to promote his latest film, THE MAGIC OF BELLE ISLE (now in theaters and available via VOD), REINER took a few minutes to talk about his upcoming documentary on Prop 8 and how he believes that movies and pop culture can actually have a changing effect on future generations.
