Pretty much performing as expected and opening in the No. 3 spot on the weekend box office chart, ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER is based on the popular novel by best-selling author SETH GRAHAME-SMITH and tells the tale of the revenge a pre-presidential LINCOLN seeks after the death of his mother at the hands of the undead. Produced by TIM BURTON, directed by TIMUR BEKMAMBETOV and staring BENJAMIN WALKER, RUFUS SEWELL, MARY ELIZABETH WINSTEAD, ALAN TUDYK, DOMINIC COOPER, ANTHONY MACKIE and JIMMI SIMPSON.
Stylish to the extreme and laced with exquisite action/fight scenes, the film really does perform on a visual level despite many complications behind-the-scenes. At the recent press conference to promote the film, BENJAMIN WALKER talked about how shooting in 3D added some difficulties. (CLICK ON THE MEDIA BAR FOR AUDIO)
