Opening in theaters tomorrow, TO ROME WITH LOVE is filmmaker WOODY ALLEN’S latest romantic comedy set in a foreign locale and uses the eternal city as the backdrop and thread that holds several tales together. Written and directed by ALLEN (who also stars), the cast includes ALEC BALDWIN, JESSE EISENBERG, ROBERTO BENIGNI, JUDY DAVIS, PENELOPE CRUZ, CAROL ALT, ALISON PILL and ELLEN PAGE.

An iconic filmmaker who has won the hearts of audiences with such Academy Award-winners as ANNIE HALL and HANNAH AND HER SISTERS, ALLEN remains his own harshest critic and, at a recent press conference talked about how certain of his most famous films didn’t turn out the way they were intended.
