Opening in theaters this week, TO ROME WITH LOVE is filmmaker WOODY ALLEN’S latest travelogue cum comedy and uses the eternal city as the thread that weaves several romantic tales together. Written and directed by ALLEN (who also stars), the cast includes ALEC BALDWIN, JESSE EISENBERG, ROBERTO BENIGNI, JUDY DAVIS, PENELOPE CRUZ, CAROL ALT, ALISON PILL and ELLEN PAGE. A follow-up to last year’s MIDNIGHT IN PARIS, this film is a bit of a let-down but does succeed in getting ALLEN back on the screen.
