Directed by STANLEY KUBRICK from a screenplay by NABOKOV himself, the inspired cast featured JAMES MASON, SHELLY WINTERS, SUE LYON and PETER SELLERS. Extremely controversial at the time of its 1962 release, LOLITA continues to be thought of as one of KUBRICK’S most outrageous (if not most polarizing) films. A brilliantly realized dark comedy as entertaining now as then.
