Opening in theaters this week, GHOST RIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE returns actor NICOLAS CAGE to the role he last visited in 2007. Based on the popular Marvel comic book series and armed with the promise of being a reboot rather than a continuation of the previous film, it’s been directed by MARK NEVELDINE and BRIAN TAYLOR and also stars IDRIS ELBA, VIOLANTE PLACIDO, CIARAN HINDS and JOHNNY WHITWORTH. A long time fan of all things spooky, CAGE has always lamented the fact that horror, sci-fi and supernatural films don’t often get the respect they deserve. But, during a recent interview, he speculated that opinions of the genre are changing. (CLICK ON THE MEDIA BAR FOR AUDIO)
