Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum apparently make a perfect Valentine’s Day couple, as their star power propelled The Vow to a first place finish at the box office. The romantic drama took in $41.7 million, narrowly beating out fellow newcomer Safe House, which took in $39.3 million. But the top two films weren’t the only winners over the weekend, as Journey 2: The Mysterious Island (#3, $27.55 million) and the 3D release of Star Wars: Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace (#4, $23 million) also drew a substantial audience. Here’s the top 10:
