In her new film One for the Money, Katherine Heigl is Stephanie Plum, a recovery agent assigned to track down Joe Morelli (Terra Nova’s Jason O’Mara), a guy who dumped her back in high school. The movie is based on the Janet Evanovich novel of the same name (Plum is the lead character in 18 Evanovich novels).
“The murder-mystery storyline (in this film) is kind of dark and a little edgy and gives a vibe that is not purely chick flick-ish. I’m really excited about it because it does appeal to everyone,” says Heigl during the press conference to promote the movie. “It just isn’t a girls movie. I think that we’re working hard to advertise it that everyone knows that. It’s a good time for everyone, men included.”
