In theaters this weekend, WAR HORSE is an epic adventure celebrating the bonds of friendship, loyalty and courage set against the harrowing backdrop of cavalry battle in World War I. Directed by STEVEN SPIELBERG and adapted from MICHAEL MORPURGO’S award-winning children’s book of the same name, the cast includes JEREMY IRVINE, DAVID THEWLIS, EMMA WATSON and BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH.

One of the world’s greatest filmmakers, SPIELBURG was amazed to observe how much emotion his equine stars were able to convey to the cameras and, during a recent press conference, he talked about how his team of “horse whisperers” aided in getting the desired performances.
