With two epic films hitting theaters this week, a lot of eyes will be taking in the work of legendary filmmaker STEVEN SPIELBERG.
First up, the highly anticipated motion-capture adaptation of THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN: THE SECRET OF THE UNICORN. Based on the internationally famous comic by HERGE, the film stars JAMIE BELL, SIMON PEGG, MARK FROST, DANIEL CRAIG and ANDY SERKIS.
Following that: WAR HORSE, based on the book by MICHAEL MORPURGO, is a coming-of-age love story between a boy and his horse. Set during World War I, the film features a cast that includes DAVID THEWLIS, EMMA WATSON and BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH.
With two prestige pictures coming out back-to-back, one might think that SPIELBERG is feeling a bit of pressure but, at a recent press conference, he revealed that he never concerns himself with the expectations of others. (CLICK ON THE MEDIA BAR FOR AUDIO)
