After 106 episodes, the Emmy Award-winning Disney Channel sitcom, THE WIZARDS OF WAVERLY PLACE, will call it quits with a special one-hour installment on Friday, January 6. Created by TODD J. GREENWALD, the show has made stars of SELENA GOMEZ, DAVID HENRIE and JAKE T. AUSTIN.
Even though the final episode was shot last May, the memories of that last day on the set are still fresh. We spoke with GOMEZ and HENRIE a few days ago and they recounted the emotional experience of saying goodbye to the show.
