JAKE T. AUSTIN, one of the young stars of the popular Disney Channel series THE WIZARDS OF WAVERLY PLACE and currently seen on the big screen in NEW YEAR’S EVE, will next show up in TOM SAWYER AND HUCKLEBERRY FINN as the titular bad boy Huck Finn. Based on the classic characters created by MARK TWAIN in the late 1800’s, the film was written and directed by JO KASTNER with SUPER 8 star JOEL COURTNEY joining AUSTIN as Tom.
We sat down with AUSTIN yesterday in the Disney offices and he talked about making the film.
