we_need_to_talk_about_kevin_xlgOpening in theaters today, WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT KEVIN centers on the mother of a psychologically disturbed teen and how she deals with the aftermath of his Columbine-like rampage. Directed by LYNNE RAMSEY from the prize-winning 2003 novel by LIONEL SHRIVER, the film stars TILDA SWINTON, JOHN C. REILLY, EZRA MILLER and URSULA PARKER. Reminiscent of the 1956 classic THE BAD SEED, the film brings up unanswerable questions of “nature vs. nurture” and parental responsibility. As the father of the tortured teen, REILLY makes the best of his supporting role and deftly counters his showier comic performances in other films. During a press conference to promote the movie, REILLY talked about getting involved in the project. (CLICK ON THE MEDIA BAR FOR AUDIO)
