A veteran of such popular TV shows as BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER and MERLIN, Brit actor ANTHONY HEAD will next be seen in the much anticipated biopic of British Prime Minister MARGARET THATCHER, THE IRON LADY. Directed by PHYLLIDA LLOYD from a screenplay by ABI MORGAN, the film stars MERYL STREEP, JIM BROADBENT, HARRY LLOYD and RICHARD E. GRANT. Based solely on publicity pictures and a a few early screenings, Oscar-buzz is building for what is proving to be another STREEP tour-de-force. HEAD tells us the speculation is deserved and describes his role as THATCHER advisor GORDON HOWE.
