descendants_ver2One Of Hollywood’s most versatile and personable stars, GEORGE CLOONEY is currently doing double duty at the box office with two films being talked about as possible awards contenders. In the political drama THE IDES OF MARCH, he directs (as well as stars with) RYAN GOSLING, EVAN RACHEL WOOD, PHILLIP SEYMOUR HOFFMAN and PAUL GIAMATTI in a tale of backroom backstabbing during a presidential campaign. In director ALEXANDER PAYNE’S family dramedy THE DESCENDANTS, he plays a remote dad forced to reconnect with his kids after his wife suffers a tragic accident. Wether he’s being directed by himself or someone else, CLOONEY’S performances are always notable and, during a recent press conference, he talked about knowing when to take the helm of a project or to let another director take the reins.
