In theaters today, RAMPART is a stunningly complex portrait of a corrupt Los Angeles cop trying to claw his way out of an Internal Affairs investigation that could cost him his job. Gritty and intense, the film is directed by OREN MOVERMAN, who co-wrote the screenplay with legendary novelist JAMES ELLROY. Set in 1999 against the backdrop of the L.A. Rampart scandal, the movie stars WOODY HARRELLSON, BEN FOSTER (who also produced), ANNE HECHE, CYNTHIA NIXON, ROBIN WRIGHT, SIGOURNEY WAVER, STEVE BUSCEMI and ICE CUBE.
