In theaters this week, HAPPY FEET 2 is the follow-up to the 2006 animated blockbuster that was a hit with critics and audiences alike. This time around, the story centers on Eric (the son of Mumble, from the first film), a young penguin choreographically challenged and runs away rather than join the colony in celebratory dance. Once again directed by GEORGE MILLER, the cast includes ELIJAH WOOD, ROBIN WILLIAMS, SOFIA VERGARA, COMMON, PINK, HUGO WEAVING, BRAD PITT, MATT DAMON and HANK AZARIA.
Returning to his role as Ramon, an incurable romantic attracted to “las chicas” despite being constantly rejected, ROBIN WILLIAMS is suitably manic in voicing his character’s pursuit of Carmen, a hot-blooded Columbian penguin. The actors actually recorded their scenes together and, to hear WILLIAMS tell it, he was very impressed. (CLICK ON THE MEDIA BAR FOR AUDIO)
