Taking a page from Greek mythology, IMMORTALS brings to the screen a casual interpretation of the story of Hyperion’s quest to retrieve the Epirus bow as a weapon to challenge the gods that have wronged him. Directed by TARSEM SINGH from a script by CHARLEY and VLAS PARLAPANIDES, the cast includes HENRY CAVILL, MICKEY ROURKE, STEPHEN DORFF, LUKE EVANS, JOHN HURT and FRIDA PINTO.
No stranger to playing larger than life villains, MICKEY ROURKE brings a bloodthirsty quality to King Hyperion that is delightfully over the top. During our recent interview, ROURKE talked about being cast as a bad guy and the stipulations he insists on before taking the roles. (CLICK ON THE MEDIA BAR FOR AUDIO) LANGUAGE NSFW
