French Stewart voices the role of Richard, a gay dad to a pretentious and annoying 7-year-old (voiced by Jonah Hill) in Fox’s freshman animated series Allen Gregory.  Stewart is best known as a cast member of 3rd Rock from the Sun, and he admits the show’s success was a “mixed bag.”

“It’s the thing that gave me everything and gave me a comfortable life,” admits Stewart.  “And it’s also the thing that you kind of have to fight against a little bit if you want to do other things.  But that’s a high class problem.  What are you going to do, bitch about that?”
