Although Taylor Lautner still has to promote The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 as well as next year’s final chapter, the Twilight days for the young actor are dwindling, and soon he must forge new path for himself.  Although Abduction had dismal box-office returns, the future is still bright for Lautner, who may (or may not work) with director Gus Van Sant (Drugstore Cowboy) on a project.  During a recent press conference to promote Breaking Dawn, Lautner explained why he doesn’t mind being typecast as Jacob, and he admitted that wrapping up the Twilight franchise was a bit of a bummer.  Click on the media bar to hear Lautner:
