Wrapping up its second season tonight, TOP CHEF: JUST DESSERTS is the popular Emmy-winning spin-off of the original TOP CHEF series that helped Bravo become one of the leaders in reality programming. Whittling the contestants from the original 14 to just three, the challengers will compete tonight for the coveted title, a $100,000 cash prize, a feature in Food & Wine Magazine and a showcase at the annual Food & Wine Cayman Cookout. One of the least abrasive reality shows on television, the judges tend to keep the snark and sarcasm to a minimum while actually trying to instruct contestants in the art of dessert making. We sat down with judges GAIL SIMMONS and JOHNNY IUZZINI at the top of the season and they talked about the philosophies behind their constructive criticisms. (CLICK ON THE MEDIA BAR FOR AUDIO)
