In the upcoming spy comedy JOHNNY ENGLISH REBORN, comic actor ROWAN ATKINSON returns to the role he originated in 2003, a bumbling British Secret Service agent parodying the spy genre and, more specifically, James Bond. This time around, he’s been drafted to stop a group of international assassins before they eliminate a world leader and cause global chaos. Under the direction of OLIVER PARKER, ATKINSON heads a cast that includes GILLIAN ANDERSON, DOMINIC WEST, ROSAMUND PIKE, DANIEL KALUUYA and RICHARD SCHIFF.
Meeting with entertainment reporters last week, ATKINSON talked about his inept spy creation and how he might be better than Bond as a screen character. (CLICK ON THE MEDIA BAR FOR AUDIO)
