
Before he was the acclaimed director of Good Night and Good Luck, an Oscar winner for Syriana, and the frontman for the Ocean’s Eleven films, George Clooney spent years as a television actor on such shows as The Facts of Life, Bodies of Evidence, and most notably, ER.
While promoting his upcoming film The Descendants (opening November 18th), Clooney explains the importance of “luck” in his acting career during his transition from TV actor to film star, and he also explains why, as a lead actor, one must do more than just say the lines on a movie set.
