Available on DVD and Blu-ray this week, HORRIBLE BOSSES is a hard R-rated film that raises the standard “workplace comedy” to a new level. Telling the story of three pals who conspire to kill their overbearing, insufferable employers, this over-the-top revenge fantasy brings to mind 9 TO 5, as well as STRANGERS ON A TRAIN. Directed by SETH GORDON, the all-star cast includes JASON BATEMAN, CHARLIE DAY, JASON SUDEIKIS (as the put-upon employees) and KEVIN SPACEY, JENNIFER ANISTON, COLIN FARRELL (as the titular bosses). As a slutty, man-eating dentist, ANISTON gets to do the kind of broad comedy she doesn’t often play. At the press conference to promote the original release of the film, she talked about how much she enjoyed it and likened BATEMAN, DAY and SUDEIKIS to a legendary comedy team.
